It was good, clean fun — well, not so clean — during the tug of war contest held Sunday afternoon at the Greene County Fair. The Dirty Half Dozen team started out with matching white T-shirts but in about 30 seconds, their shirts and the rest of their bodies were covered in black, thick mud when they lost their footing and got pulled into the depth of the muddy pool between the teams.
The event was sponsored by the Junction Food Producers 4-H Club. ~The Scranton Journal
